Cooking courses in Italian for foreigners

Cooking Lab

€150 individually / €105 per person in a group.

With my specialisation as a teacher of Italian for foreigners, I have conceived this course as an opportunity to acquire new elements of the Italian language for people who want to approach Italian through a cooking course, namely learning by doing.
The course can be customised, individually or in groups, based on personal needs, language proficiency level, and course schedule availability. The courses have a duration of approximately 3.5 hours. For levels A1-A2-B1, a tasting menu will be proposed, and conversation practice at the market can be arranged, if interested. In this case, the market visit will take place after the course so that participants can put into practice what they have learned together "in the kitchen"!
For levels B2 and C1-C2, participants can choose between two traditional one-course menus: gnocchi or strangolapreti, bearing in mind that if in a group, agreement on one of the two menus will be necessary.

Each course can accommodate a maximum of 6 participants.
It can be customized on request by day and time, in a group or individually based on specific needs and the availability of courses already scheduled. The course may be subject to a price change compared to the standard proposal in the event of particular specific requests outside the menu.
All courses include a welcome toast, drinks - selected wines, apple juice, water - and final dessert. At the end of each course the person can choose whether to stop and eat what was cooked or take home a doggy bag.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be notified in advance via email. In group courses there may be variations due to seasonality and intolerances/allergies of the participants. Almost all courses can be adapted for vegetarians, with some modifications and variations, but not suitable for vegans. For all courses it will be essential to know in advance any intolerances or allergies in order to be able to organize adequately and meet all needs, as far as possible. The course will be held on the third floor of a house subject to Fine Arts restrictions because it is historic and therefore does not have a lift.
